Ashford Beekeeping Association has been formed by many likeminded individuals who share a passion for the craft of beekeeping. The Ashford Club is a branch of the Kent Beekeepers Association, which is an affiliated member of the BBKA (British Beekeepers Association).
The Club was first formed in 1919 and it held it's first AGM meeting in 1920; at which time there were a total of 40-Club members.
Today, the Club meet once a month throughout the year during the first weekend of the month from April to September. (see join us page)
The aim of the Club is to promote the best beekeeping practices and to encourage and assist members to take up the craft, whilst striving to educate members of the public with regards to the importance of protecting honeybees for our future on this planet.
